Welcome to the online home for Dog Wants Out, a group of local musicians from mid-Maine who love music, value local food, and believe in community.
Dog Wants Out is a community music project currently dedicated to supporting and promoting local food events through a growing season tour of Maine farmer's markets and local food events.
DWO plays Alternative Funtry Music with a folk sensibility. Our set list is designed to provide hum-along opportunities for the farmer's market crowd and includes tunes like "Big Green Tractor," "Melt with You," "Red Clay Halo," "Who's Your Farmer?," and "Harvest Moon."

Thanks to Elaine and Alex for hosting DWO at Waterfall Arts in Belfast last week. It was a windy night but no dogs got blown entirely away. It's fun playing music at night!
